A process for preparing a compound of formula (I)
- comprising:
- (ii) reacting a compound of formula (II)
- with nitric acid in the presence of sulfuric acid or oleum,
- wherein the nitric acid is used in an amount of 2 to 20 mole
- equivalents per 1 mole of the compound (II).
