Abstract
Ingredient containers for use in a beverage carbonation system are provided. The ingredient container includes a container body having a hollow interior and an opening leading into the hollow interior. The ingredient container also includes a cap positioned over the opening in the container body and including an inlet port and an outlet port. A cross-section of the cap extends substantially perpendicular to a central axis of each of the inlet port and the outlet port, and the cross-section of the cap has a shape that is a substantially circular triangle.

An ingredient container, comprising:
- a container body having a hollow interior and an opening leading into the hollow interior;
- a cap positioned over the opening in the container body and including an inlet port and an outlet port, wherein a cross-section of the cap extending substantially perpendicular to a central axis of each of the inlet port and the outlet port has a shape that is a substantially circular triangle.
An ingredient container, comprising:
- a container body having a hollow interior and an opening leading into the hollow interior;
- a lid coupled to the container body and covering the opening, the lid including an inlet leading from an exterior environment to the hollow interior and an outlet leading from the hollow interior to the exterior environment, the lid having a substantially triangular shape,
- wherein the lid is configured to couple to a beverage dispenser having a complementary substantially triangular receiver.
