Abstract
An over-the-door hanging apparatus includes a support structure extending along a longitudinal axis and having a rear surface. A first mounting bracket that is elongated in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis of the support structure is coupled to the rear surface of the support structure. A bracket assembly may include a first elongate member having a first bracket that is configured to engage a top edge of a door, a second elongate member having a second bracket that is configured to engage the top edge of the door, and at least one mounting element. The support structure may be configured to be mounted to the bracket assembly through engagement between the at least one mounting element of the bracket assembly and the first mounting bracket.

An over-the-door hanging apparatus comprising:
- a mirror apparatus comprising:
- a frame defining an opening and having a rear surface;
- at least one first mounting element coupled to the rear surface of the frame;
- and
- a mirror located within the opening and coupled to the frame;
- a bracket assembly comprising:
- at least one bracket configured to engage a top edge of a door;
- and
- at least one second mounting element that is configured to interact with the first mounting element on the rear surface of the frame while the at least one bracket is engaged with the top edge of the door to hang the mirror apparatus from the door.
A hanging assembly including a support structure and a bracket assembly, the bracket assembly being suitable for hanging the support structure from a top edge of a door, the hanging assembly comprising:
- the support structure comprising at least one first mounting element;
- the bracket assembly comprising:
- a bracket that is configured to be positioned over the top edge of the door to hang the bracket assembly from the door;
- and
- at least one second mounting element;
- and
- wherein the at least one first mounting element of the support structure and the at least one second mounting element of the bracket assembly are configured to engage one another while the bracket is positioned over the top edge of the door to hang the support structure from the door.
An over-the-door hanging apparatus comprising:
- a mirror apparatus comprising:
- a frame defining an opening, the frame comprising a rear surface, and an annular channel in the rear surface;
- and
- a mirror mounted within the opening;
- a first elongate bracket member comprising a first bracket, the first elongate bracket member coupled to the mirror apparatus, at least a portion of the first elongate bracket member located within a first vertical portion of the annular channel;
- and
- a second elongate bracket member comprising a second bracket, the second elongate bracket member coupled to the mirror apparatus, at least a portion of the second elongate bracket member located within a second vertical portion of the annular channel;
- and
- wherein the first and second brackets of the first and second elongate bracket members are configured to engage a top edge of a door to hang the mirror apparatus from the door.
