Abstract
Systems and methods related to a curly hair doll are provided. A doll includes a head and a plurality of material strands coupled to the head to embody curls of hair. Each material strand may define a three-dimensional (3D) helix formed by a two-dimensional (2D) spiral cut into a flat piece of flexible material. Additional systems and associated methods are also provided.

A doll comprising:
- a head;
- and
- a plurality of material strands coupled to the head to embody curls of hair, wherein each material strand defines a three-dimensional (3D) helix formed by a two-dimensional (2D) spiral cut into a flat piece of flexible material.
A method of making a doll, the method comprising:
- coupling a plurality of material strands to a head of the doll,
- wherein each material strand defines a three-dimensional (3D) helix formed by a two-dimensional (2D) spiral cut into a flat piece of flexible material.
