An information processing terminal according to an aspect of the present technology starts playback of content by using a default value as a setting value of a predetermined setting regarding playback, and controls the playback of the content so that, in a case where a switching operation for switching the predetermined setting is performed, the content is played back by using a setting value selected during previous playback. The present technology is applicable to a smartphone in which various applications can be installed to extend a function thereof. ## Claims ### Claim 1 An information processing terminal comprising circuitry configured to start playback of content by using a default value of a predetermined playback setting, control the playback of the content so that, in a case where a switching operation for switching the predetermined playback setting is performed, the content is played back by using a playback setting selected during previous playback, display a playback setting list in a case where another same switching operation is performed during the playback of the content using the playback setting selected during the previous playback, wherein the switching operation includes pressing a button once, and the playback setting is a content genre setting. ### Claim 2 (depends on 1) The information processing terminal according to claim 1, further comprising a storage unit that stores information indicating a playback setting selected from the list as information indicating the playback setting selected during the previous playback. ### Claim 3 (depends on 1) The information processing terminal according to claim 1, wherein the circuitry is configured to enable, depending on a supply source of the content, playing back the content by using the playback setting selected during the previous playback in a case where the switching operation is performed. ### Claim 4 (depends on 3) The information processing terminal according to claim 3, wherein the circuitry is configured to enable playing back the content in a case where the supply source of the content is a recording medium included in the information processing terminal and disable playing back the content in a case where the supply source of the content is a recording medium of an external device connected via a network. ### Claim 5 (depends on 1) The information processing terminal according to claim 1, wherein in a case where the switching operation is performed, the circuitry is configured to play back the content by using a playback setting selected during previous playback of content of a same genre as the content. ### Claim 6 (depends on 1) The information processing terminal according to claim 1, wherein the predetermined setting includes a playback speed of the content including video and audio. ### Claim 7 An information processing method operating in an information processing terminal comprising starting playback of content by using a default value of a predetermined playback setting, controlling the playback of the content so that, in a case where a switching operation for switching the predetermined playback setting is performed, the content is played back by using a playback setting selected during previous playback, displaying a playback setting list in a case where another same switching operation is performed during the playback of the content using the playback setting selected during the previous playback, wherein the switching operation includes pressing a button once, and the playback setting is a content genre setting. ### Claim 8 A non-transitory computer-readable medium having stored thereon a computer-readable program for causing a computer to execute processing of starting playback of content by using a default value of a predetermined playback setting, controlling the playback of the content so that, in a case where a switching operation for switching the predetermined playback setting is performed, the content is played back by using a playback setting selected during previous playback, displaying a playback setting list in a case where another same switching operation is performed during the playback of the content using the playback setting selected during the previous playback, wherein the switching operation includes pressing a button once, and the playback setting is a content genre setting. ### Claim 9 (depends on 7) The information processing method according to claim 7, further comprising storing information indicating a playback setting selected from the list as information indicating the playback setting selected during the previous playback. ### Claim 10 (depends on 7) The information processing method according to claim 7, further comprising depending on a supply source of the content, playing back the content by using the playback setting selected during the previous playback in a case where the switching operation is performed. ### Claim 11 (depends on 10) The information processing method according to claim 10, further comprising playing back the content in a case where the supply source of the content is a recording medium included in the information processing terminal, and disabling playing back the content in a case where the supply source of the content is a recording medium of an external device connected via a network. ### Claim 12 (depends on 7) The information processing method according to claim 7, further comprising in a case where the switching operation is performed, playing back the content by using a playback setting selected during previous playback of content of a same genre as the content. ### Claim 13 (depends on 7) The information processing method according to claim 7, wherein the predetermined setting includes a playback speed of the content including video and audio. ### Claim 14 (depends on 1) The information processing terminal according to claim 1, wherein the circuitry is configured such that the switching operation employs a one-step switching function. ### Claim 15 (depends on 1) The information processing terminal according to claim 1, wherein the circuitry is configured such that the switching operation employs a one-step switching function individually selected by a user depending on an attribute of the content. ### Claim 16 (depends on 14) The information processing terminal according to claim 14, wherein the circuitry is configured such that the one-step switching function is different depending on a genre of the content being played back. ### Claim 17 (depends on 1) The information processing terminal according to claim 1, wherein the circuitry is configured such that the switching operation employs a switching function that is different depending on a genre of the content being played back. ### Claim 18 (depends on 1) The information processing terminal according to claim 1, wherein the circuitry is configured such that a playback speed is reset to 1× speed when the playback speed is set to a speed that is not 1× when the switching operation involve switching from one genre to a different genre. ### Claim 19 (depends on 1) The information processing terminal according to claim 1, wherein the circuitry is configured such that the switching operation employs a swipe operation. ### Claim 20 (depends on 1) The information processing terminal according to claim 1, wherein the circuitry is configured such that the switching operation employs a gesture operation.
