Virtual-figure-based data processing method and apparatus, computer device, and storage medium

A virtual-figure-based data processing apparatus comprising:

• at least one memory configured to store program code;
• and
• at least one processor configured to read the program code and operate as instructed by the program code, the program code comprising:
• obtaining code configured to cause the at least one processor to obtain a figure resource identifier and a service status of a first object, wherein the service status is selected from online, offline, busy, resting, gaming, and invisible;
• determining code configured to cause the at least one processor to determine whether a virtual figure buffer contains a first virtual figure matching the figure resource identifier and the service status;
• acquiring code configured to cause the at least one processor to, based on the virtual figure buffer containing a matching virtual figure, acquire the first virtual figure;
• conversation display code configured to cause the at least one processor to display a conversation interface for a conversation between the first object and a second object, and displaying the first virtual figure of the first object and a second virtual figure of the second object in a virtual figure display region of the conversation interface;
• message display code configured to cause the at least one processor to display, in a message display region of the conversation interface in response to a trigger operation on the conversation interface, a first conversation message transmitted by the first object to the second object, the first conversation message carrying first object media data associated with the first object;
• and
• updating code configured to cause the at least one processor to update the first virtual figure to a first virtual update figure in the virtual figure display region comprising the second virtual figure, the first virtual update figure being obtained by updating the first virtual figure based on both the first object media data and position data of points of the first object.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing computer code that when executed by at least one processor causes the at least one processor to:

• obtain a figure resource identifier and a service status of a first object, wherein the service status is selected from online, offline, busy, resting, gaming, and invisible;
• determine whether a virtual figure buffer contains a first virtual figure matching the figure resource identifier and the service status;
• based on the virtual figure buffer containing a matching virtual figure, acquire the first virtual figure;
• display a conversation interface for a conversation between the first object and a second object, and displaying the first virtual figure of the first object and a second virtual figure of the second object in a virtual figure display region of the conversation interface;
• display, in a message display region of the conversation interface in response to a trigger operation on the conversation interface, a first conversation message transmitted by the first object to the second object, the first conversation message carrying first object media data associated with the first object;
• and
• update the first virtual figure to a first virtual update figure in the virtual figure display region comprising the second virtual figure, the first virtual update figure being obtained by updating the first virtual figure based on both the first object media data and position data of points of the first object.
