Abstract
A hand sanitization system, a sanitization machine, and hand coverings containing markings for use with the sanitization machine are disclosed. The hand sanitization machine is capable of sanitizing hand coverings that were traditionally disposed of after one use. The hand coverings may contain indicators that signal when they have been sterilized.
Claims11
A method of sanitizing a hand covering comprising:
- providing a sterilizing machine for use in a ultraviolet (UV) sterilization process, the sterilizing machine comprising an enclosure and a UV light source;
- obtaining information from a mark on a hand covering on a user;
- basing the power output of the UV light source at least in part on information obtained from the mark on the hand covering;
- initiating the UV sterilization process wherein the UV light source is powered on prior to the user inserting the hand covering into the sterilizing machine;
- and
- inserting the hand covering on the user into the sterilizing machine.
