Abstract
A cleaning liquid for excessive powder removal is provided. The cleaning liquid includes a hydrocarbon solvent having an octanol/water partition coefficient (log Pow value) of 4.5 or more. The cleaning liquid is to remove excessive powder for molding adhering to a solidified object molded using the powder for molding.

A method for producing a three-dimensional molded object, the method comprising:
- forming a powder layer containing a powder for molding;
- applying an object molding liquid containing a resin to the powder layer to form a molded object;
- solidifying the molded object to obtain a solidified object;
- and
- removing excessive powder for molding adhering to the solidified object with a cleaning liquid containing a hydrocarbon solvent having an octanol/water partition coefficient (logPow value) of 4.5 or more,
- wherein the resin is soluble in a solvent A, and an octanol/water partition coefficient (logPow value) of the solvent A is −1.8 or more and 3.4 or less.

- an object molding liquid containing a resin;
- and
- a cleaning liquid for excessive powder removal containing a hydrocarbon solvent having an octanol/water partition coefficient (logPow value) of 4.5 or more,
- wherein the resin is soluble in a solvent A, and an octanol/water partition coefficient (logPow value) of the solvent A is −1.8 or more and 3.4 or less.
