Binding tape, binding method, tape winding body and reel

A binding tape to be wound around a to-be-bound object and configured to bind the to-be-bound object by stitching overlapped portions of the binding tape by a staple, the binding tape comprising:

• an intermediate layer having a plurality of first linear members and a plurality of second linear members intersecting with the plurality of first linear members, wherein one end portion of the intermediate layer in a width direction is formed with a plurality of first cuts spaced in a longitudinal direction of the binding tape, the other end portion of the intermediate layer in the width direction is formed with a plurality of second cuts spaced in the longitudinal direction of the binding tape, and wherein at least one of the first cuts cuts 60% or more of a width of one of the second linear members which is arranged at an outermost side close to the one end portion of the intermediate layer in the width direction;
• a first surface layer covering one surface of the intermediate layer and formed of a resin material;
• and
• a second surface layer covering the other surface of the intermediate layer and formed of a resin material,
• wherein an interval of adjacent two of the first linear members is equal to or smaller than 5 mm.
