The present invention relates to compositions and methods for treating and/or preventing Canine Distemper Virus (CDV) in mammals susceptible to CDV.

An immunogenic composition comprising a nucleic acid molecule encoding at least one Canine Distemper Virus (CDV) antigen, wherein the nucleic acid molecule encodes a peptide comprising an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of
