Abstract
A modular information technology component includes: an information handling system; a floor, in which the floor includes a floor track apparatus and the information handling system is located on the floor; and a rack mounting component, in which the rack mounting component affixes the information handling system to the floor track apparatus.

A modular information technology component (MITC), comprising:
- an information handling system (IHS);
- a utility control component (UCC),
- wherein the UCC manages a temperature within the IHS and is configured to detect and suppress fire within the IHS,
- wherein the UCC is integrated within the MITC as a non-standalone component to support different types of IHSs;
- a floor, wherein the floor comprises a floor track apparatus (FTA) and the IHS is located on the floor;
- and
- a rack mounting component (RMC), wherein the RMC affixes the IHS to the FTA.

- a modular information technology component (MITC),
- wherein the MITC comprises an information handling system (IHS), a utility control component (UCC), a floor, and a rack mounting component (RMC),
- wherein the UCC manages a temperature within the IHS and is configured to detect and suppress fire within the IHS,
- wherein the UCC is integrated within the MITC as a non-standalone component to support different types of IHSs,
- wherein the floor comprises a floor track apparatus (FTA), wherein the RMC affixes the IHS to the FTA,

- a modular environmental control component (MECC),
- wherein the MECC comprises a plurality of environmental control components (ECCs) and built-in airflow connection components, wherein the built-in airflow connection components remove and supply air to the MITC.

- a modular environmental control component (MECC),
- wherein the MECC comprises a plurality of environmental control components (ECCs) and built-in airflow connection components, wherein the built-in airflow connection components remove and supply air to the MITC.
