Offloading a user device into a wireless network using an ANDSF application

A method for automatic offloading of a user device from a mobile communication network into a wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) network using an Access Network Discovery and Selection Function (ANDSF) application, the method comprising:

• configuring, at the user device, an available Wi-Fi network, (Wi-Fi), wherein the Wi-Fi network is configured into an ANDSF policy, wherein the ANDSF policy is configured in an ANDSF server, wherein the ANDSF server is associated with the ANDSF application;
• validating, at the user device, the Wi-Fi network, wherein the Wi-Fi network is validated using the ANDSF application, wherein the ANDSF application validates the Wi-Fi network (Wi-Fi) based on Quality of Experience (QOE) parameters, and the QOE parameters include a calculated average signal strength;
• and
• offloading the user device into the Wi-Fi network based at least in part on the calculated average signal strength, wherein the user device is offloaded using the ANDSF application, wherein the ANDSF application offloads the user device into the Wi-Fi network (Wi-Fi) with a high signal strength.
