Abstract
In order to provide an image processing system that can generate appealing content, an image capturing system 100 generates stereoscopic form digital contents 200 including a first image that is a main camera image, and a second image that is a virtual viewpoint image, and associates the first image and the second image with a first plane 201 and a second plane 202 that configure the digital contents 200.
Claims17
An image processing system comprising:
- one or more memories storing instructions;
- and
- one or more processors executing the instructions to:
- acquire a virtual viewpoint image generated based on a virtual viewpoint and a plurality of images obtained by image capturing by a plurality of image capturing devices;
- and
- generate stereoscopic form digital contents including the virtual viewpoint image and an image from a viewpoint that differs from the virtual viewpoint, the virtual viewpoint image associated with a first plane that configure the digital contents, and the image associated with a second plane that configure the digital contents, wherein the virtual viewpoint image associated with the first plane and the image associated with the second plane include a same subject and are displayed simultaneously.
An image processing method comprising:
- an acquisition step that acquires a virtual viewpoint image that is generated based on a virtual viewpoint image and a plurality of images and a virtual viewpoint that have been obtained by image capturing by a plurality of image capturing devices;
- and
- a generation step that generates stereoscopic form digital contents including the virtual viewpoint image and an image from a viewpoint that differs from the virtual viewpoint, the virtual viewpoint image associated with a first plane that configure the digital contents, and the image associated with a second plane that configure the digital contents, wherein the virtual viewpoint image associated with the first plane and the image associated with the second plane include a same subject and are displayed simultaneously.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium configured to store a computer program comprising instructions for executing following processes:
- an acquisition step that acquires a virtual viewpoint image generated based on a virtual viewpoint image and a plurality of images and a virtual viewpoint obtained by image capturing using a plurality of image capturing devices;
- and
- a generation step that generates stereoscopic form digital contents including the virtual viewpoint image and an image from a viewpoint that differs from the virtual viewpoint, the virtual viewpoint image associated with a first plane that configure the digital contents, and the image associated with a second plane that configure the digital contents, wherein the virtual viewpoint image associated with the first plane and the image associated with the second plane include a same subject and are displayed simultaneously.
