An aquatic propulsion device configured to be worn on at least one leg of a swimmer and comprising:
- at least one first portion configured to be securely attached to the at least one leg of a user swimmer, the first portion comprising:
- a first bearing part having a first inner face shaped so as to bear on a tibia of the swimmer and a first outer face opposite to the first inner face, and
- a second portion comprising:
- a foil for propelling the swimmer, and
- a second bearing part carrying the foil and having a portion complementary with the first bearing part so that the aquatic propulsion device has:
- an attached configuration in which the second bearing part cooperates with the first bearing part to removably secure the second bearing part on the first outer face of the first bearing part in order to transmit a finning force from the first portion to the foil of the second portion, and
- a detached configuration in which the cooperation of the second bearing part with the first bearing part is suppressed so that the second portion is completely disengaged from the first portion.
