Abstract
A liquid crystal on silicon (LCOS) device includes a liquid crystal on silicon (LCOS) module with a thermal sensor disposed on a circuit board. A compensator with a rotatable device is disposed on top of the LCOS module, and a processing device is formed on the circuit board and responsive to color-specific response trend of thermal signals to control rotation angles of the compensator according to the thermal signals received from the thermal sensor.

A liquid crystal on silicon (LCOS) device, comprising:
- a liquid crystal on silicon (LCOS) module with a thermal sensor disposed on a circuit board;
- a compensator with a rotatable device disposed on a top of said LCOS module;
- and
- a processing device formed on said circuit board and being responsive to a color-specific response trend of thermal signals to control rotation angles of said compensator according to said thermal signals received from said thermal sensor.

- a liquid crystal on silicon (LCOS) module with a thermal sensor disposed on a flexible circuit board;
- a compensator disposed on a top of a display area of said LCOS module;
- and
- a rotatable device coupled to said compensator being responsive to a color-specific response trend of thermal signals to control rotation angles of said compensator according to said thermal signals received from said thermal sensor.
