Abstract
A casing of the present disclosure includes a casing main body and a connecting flange. The casing main body covers an outer circumferential side of a rotor that rotates about an axis. The connecting flange extends from an outer circumferential portion of the casing main body toward the outer circumferential side, is provided along a circumferential direction around the axis and is connected to a member other than the connecting flange in an axial direction that is an extension direction of the axis. The connecting flange is cut out in an upper end portion or a horizontal end portion of the connecting flange.
Claims14
A casing comprising:
- a casing main body configured to cover an outer circumferential side of a rotor that rotates about an axis;
- and
- a connecting flange extending from an outer circumferential portion of the casing main body toward an outer circumferential side, provided along a circumferential direction around the axis and connected to a member other than the connecting flange in an axial direction that is an extension direction of the axis,
- wherein the connecting flange includes a first planar section provided on an upper end portion in a vertical direction of the connecting flange and linearly extending along a horizontal direction perpendicular to the vertical direction in a cross-sectional view viewed in the axial direction, or a second planar section provided on a horizontal end portion in the horizontal direction of the connecting flange and linearly extending along the vertical direction in the cross-sectional view viewed in the axial direction,
- wherein the connecting flange includes an arc portion,
- wherein one end of the arc portion overlaps an end of the first planar section or an end of the second planar section included in the connecting flange, and
- wherein the first planar section or the second planar section included in the connecting flange is located on a radial direction inner side with respect to a virtual circular outline defined by a virtual line having a same curvature as the arc portion.
