Medicament delivery device

A method of dispensing medicament from a medicament delivery device that has a housing, a reservoir comprising a collapsible container disposed in the housing, a dispensing member, a needle, a needle extension biasing member, and first and second biasing members, the method comprising:

• moving the needle under the force of the needle extension biasing member from a retracted position, in which the needle is fully disposed within the housing, to an extended position, in which the needle projects from the housing,
• releasing the first biasing member to exert a force on the dispensing member to move the dispensing member from a first position to an intermediate position;
• and, then,
• releasing the second biasing member to exert a force on the dispensing member to move the dispensing member from the intermediate position to a second position to dispel medicament from the reservoir.
