Abstract
A nested data package issued by an administrative controller and configured to enable paring an electronic lock with a mobile computing device. A method for generating such nested data package.
Claims17
A nested data package comprising first freight data and configured to provide, using a first controller as a transporter, pairing information or other second freight data from an administrative controller to a second controller,
- wherein:
- (1) the nested data package comprises at least a first data layer being encrypted using a first key of the first controller, wherein the at least the first data layer comprises at least the first freight data and a second data layer,
- and
- (2) condition (A) is satisfied, wherein the second data layer is encrypted using a second key of the second controller and comprises a third data layer, and the third data layer comprises at least (i) a digital signature of the administrative controller that is attached to a fourth data layer and (ii) the fourth data layer,
- or
- condition (B) is satisfied, wherein the second data layer comprises at least (a) the digital signature of the administrative controller attached to the third data layer and (b) the third data layer, and wherein the third data layer is encrypted using a second key of the second controller and comprises the fourth data layer,
- and
- (3) wherein the fourth data layer comprises at least the second freight data that comprise at least the first key and/or a first ID of the first controller and/or a second expected response of the first controller,
- and
- (4) wherein the first controller is prevented from accessing the second freight data.
The nested data package of 1, wherein the first freight data further comprise at least one of a header identifying a nature of the nested data package, a metadata, a creation date of the nested data package, and an expiry date of the nested data package.
