Abstract
According to various embodiments, an apparatus may laser project a customized ordering of numbers onto a roulette wheel.
Claims13
An apparatus comprising:
- a roulette wheel with a plurality of slots, in which each slot corresponds to an outcome, wherein the roulette wheel is jiggleable;
- a projector configured to project imagery onto the roulette wheel;
- a display device separate from the projector;
- and
- at least one processor configured to control:
- displaying, on the display device, a graphical rendering of the roulette wheel;
- receiving, through an input device, an ordering of numbers to be displayed on the roulette wheel;
- and
- in response to receiving the ordering of numbers and a direction of the roulette wheel, projecting, via the projector, respective numbers in accordance with the received ordering onto each of the plurality of slots of the roulette wheel, and displaying matching respective numbers on the graphical rendering of the roulette wheel, wherein projection of the respective numbers is movable so as to maintain a position of each respective number on the roulette wheel as the roulette wheel spins.

An apparatus, comprising:
- a roulette wheel with a plurality of slots, in which each slot corresponds to an outcome, wherein the roulette wheel is jiggleable;
- a projector configured to project imagery onto the roulette wheel;
- a display device, separate from the projector;
- and
- at least one processor configured to control:
- displaying, on the display device, a graphical rendering of the roulette wheel;
- receiving, through an input device, an ordering of numbers to be displayed on the roulette wheel;
- in response to receiving the ordering of numbers and a desired direction to jiggle the roulette wheel, projecting, via the projector, the numbers onto the roulette wheel in accordance with the received ordering, and displaying matching respective numbers on the graphical rendering of the roulette wheel, wherein projection of the respective numbers is movable so as to maintain a position of each respective number on the roulette wheel as the roulette wheel spins;
- receiving an indication of a geometrical pattern;
- determining a set of the numbers which define points of the geometrical pattern in accordance with the ordering;
- receiving an indication of a first bet on the geometrical pattern;
- determining a first number that occurs as an outcome of a roulette game;
- selectively permitting jiggling of the roulette wheel to alter the outcome to a second number.
