A water soluble polymer composition comprising a water soluble polymer (e.g., polyvinyl alcohol-co-vinylpyrrolidinone (PVOH-co-PVP)) and a sugar (e.g., trehalose).

A water soluble polymer composition comprising:
- a water soluble polymer comprising polyvinyl alcohol-co-vinylpyrrolidinone copolymer;
- and
- a sugar;
- wherein the water soluble polymer and the sugar are substantially miscible;
- wherein the water soluble polymer and the sugar are melt processable and form the water soluble polymer composition;
- wherein the water soluble polymer composition is substantially dry;
- and
- wherein the sugar is inositol.

A water soluble support composition comprising:
- a water soluble polymer composition having a dissolution rate of at least 25 mg/min as measured in accordance with Dissolution Test Method 1 and being substantially stable at a build chamber temperature of at least 100° C.;
- wherein the water soluble polymer composition comprises a water soluble polymer and a sugar;
- wherein the water soluble polymer and the sugar are substantially miscible;
- wherein the water soluble polymer comprises polyvinyl alcohol-co-vinylpyrrolidinone copolymer;
- and
- wherein the sugar is inositol.
