Abstract
A damper assembly includes a housing including a wall defining a first aperture fluidly coupled to a second aperture, a first tubular member coupled to the housing, a second tubular member extending between the wall and the first tubular member, a first plunger coupled to the second tubular member and in sliding engagement with an inner surface of the wall and an outer surface of the first tubular member, a third member extending within the first tubular member, and a second plunger coupled to the third member and in sliding engagement with an inner surface of the first tubular member.

A damper assembly comprising:
- a housing including a wall defining a first aperture fluidly coupled to a second aperture;
- a first tubular member coupled to the housing;
- a second tubular member extending between the wall and the first tubular member;
- a first plunger coupled to the second tubular member and in sliding engagement with an inner surface of the wall and an outer surface of the first tubular member;
- a third member extending within the first tubular member;
- and
- a second plunger coupled to the third member and in sliding engagement with an inner surface of the first tubular member.
A damper assembly comprising:
- a housing including a wall that defines an inner volume, a first aperture fluidly coupled to a second aperture, and a third aperture fluidly coupled to a fourth aperture;
- and
- a piston slidably coupled to the housing and separating the inner volume into a first chamber and a second chamber,
- wherein, in a first position of the piston, (a) the first aperture and the third aperture are in direct fluid communication with the first chamber and (b) the second aperture and the fourth aperture are in direct fluid communication with the second chamber;
- and
- wherein, in a second position of the piston, (a) the first aperture, the second aperture, and the third aperture are in direct fluid communication with the first chamber and (b) the fourth aperture is in direct fluid communication with the second chamber.
A damper assembly comprising:
- a tubular member;
- a housing that receives the tubular member, the housing defining at least three first apertures that are part of a first flow path and at least three second apertures that are part of a second flow path;
- and
- a piston that extends between the tubular member and the housing,
- wherein the damper assembly is configured to provide a damping force that varies based on a longitudinal position of the piston relative to the housing.
