Silicon containing detectable compounds and uses thereof

A compound, or salt thereof, having the formula:

• R1, R8, R9, R10, R11, and R12 are each independently hydrogen, halogen, —COOH, —CN, —OH, —NH2, —CONH2, —NO2, —SH, —SO3H, —SO4H, —SO2NH2, —N3, —PO3H, —CH2NH2, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, or substituted or unsubstituted heteroalkyl;
• R2 and R3 are each independently substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, or substituted or unsubstituted heteroalkyl;
• R6 and R7 are each independently hydrogen, halogen, —OH, —CONH2, —SH, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted heteroalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted heterocycloalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted aryl, or substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl;
• R6 and R7 substituents bonded to the same nitrogen atom may optionally be joined to form a substituted or unsubstituted heterocycloalkyl, or substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl;
• R7 and R10 substituents may optionally be joined to form a substituted or unsubstituted heterocycloalkyl, or substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl;
• R6 and R12 substituents may optionally be joined to form a substituted or unsubstituted heterocycloalkyl, or substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl;
• wherein R1 and R9 substituents and/or R8 and R10 substituents are joined to form a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted aryl, substituted or unsubstituted heterocycloalkyl, or substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl.
