Compliance monitoring module for a breath-actuated inhaler

An inhaler comprising:

• a flow channel through which a user can inhale;
• a mouthpiece cover configured to make a bolus of dry powder medicament available to the flow channel prior to the user inhaling therethrough in response to the mouthpiece cover moving to expose a mouthpiece of the inhaler;
• a compliance monitoring module comprising a pressure sensor and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to:
• receive a signal indicating that the bolus of dry powder medicament is available to the flow channel;
• receive data from the pressure sensor;
• and
• based on the signal indicating that the bolus of dry powder medicament is available to the flow channel and the data from the pressure sensor, determine that inhalation of a breath containing medicament through the flow channel complies with one or more predetermined requirements for successful dosing.
