Abstract
A single-use medical endoscope with an elongate shaft carrying a distal image sensor, with a flex circuit component having a distal end electrically coupled to the image sensor and a proximal tail end of the flex circuit extending outwardly from the endoscope handle to a flex circuit connector assembly.
Claims15
A medical device comprising:
- a handle coupled to an elongated shaft with a distal end;
- an image sensor carried at the distal end;
- a flex circuit with a proximal end having a flex circuit connector and a distal end electrically coupled to the image sensor, wherein a proximal tail portion of the flex circuit extends outwardly from the handle and a middle portion of the flex circuit extends continuously through the handle and shaft;
- and
- an accelerometer carried at the distal end of the shaft and wherein a distal end of the flex circuit is electrically coupled to the accelerometer.
