Abstract
An apparatus of a next generation Node B (gNB) comprises one or more baseband processors to generate an indication for a user equipment (UE) to indicate which synchronization signal block (SSB) based measurement timing configuration (SMTC) occasion can be used by the UE for one or more measurements, and to send the indication to the UE. The apparatus can include a memory to store the indication.
Claims17
An apparatus comprising processing circuitry configured to:
- receive an indication comprising a first set of one or more synchronization signal block (SSB) based measurement timing configuration (SMTC) occasions to be used for one or more measurements on a first cell and a second set one or more SMTC occasions to be used for one or more measurements on a second cell, wherein the indication further comprises a specific identity of the first cell and a specific identity of the second cell;
- and
- perform the one or more measurements on the first cell and second cell.
One or more non-transitory storage media having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by a processor, result in:
- receiving an indication comprising a first set of one or more synchronization signal block (SSB) based measurement timing configuration (SMTC) occasions to be used for one or more measurements on a first cell and a second set one or more SMTC occasions to be used for one or more measurements on a second cell, wherein the indication further comprises a specific identity of the first cell and a specific identity of the second cell;
- and
- performing the one or more measurements on the first cell and second cell.
A user equipment (UE), comprising:
- radio frequency circuitry configured to communicate with a network;
- and
- one or more baseband processors communicatively coupled to the radio frequency circuitry and configured to perform operations comprising:
- receiving an indication comprising a first set of one or more synchronization signal block (SSB) based measurement timing configuration (SMTC) occasions to be used for one or more measurements on a first cell and a second set one or more SMTC occasions to be used for one or more measurements on a second cell, wherein the indication further comprises a specific identity of the first cell and a specific identity of the second cell;
- and
- performing the one or more measurements on the first cell and second cell.
