Abstract
A communication device and method can include one or more processors operatively coupled to memory and an audible output device, where the one or more processors initiates a call from a calling party that includes an audio clip associated with the call.
Claims9
A method, comprising:
- receiving a contact number selected by a user using the user interface;
- receiving an indication to record an audio clip from the user to send with a call;
- recording the audio clip;
- generating a time duration associated with the recording of the audio;
- generating a call signal to send to a called device, wherein the call signal includes the audio clip and the time duration;
- sending a signal to the called device associated with the contact number to initiate the call;
- receiving a confirmation from the called device that it is ready to receive the call signal verification of connection with the called device;
- and
- sending the call signal to the called device when the verification is received.
