Abstract
An electronic device including an application processor and a communication processor. The communication processor, for managing a resource memory, configured to monitor an occupancy rate of the resource memory for detecting a memory leakage, release a network connection when the electronic device is in an idle state, in response to the detecting of the memory leakage, initialize the resource memory after the network connection is released, and reconnect the network connection, wherein the idle state indicates a state when the electronic device is not occupied or used by a user, and wherein the initialization is performed at a non-flag area from among the resource memory.
Claims18
A communication processor for managing a resource memory in an electronic device configured to:
- monitor an occupancy rate of the resource memory for detecting a memory leakage;
- release a network connection when the electronic device is in an idle state, in response to the detecting of the memory leakage, wherein the idle state indicates both a state when the electronic device is not occupied or used by a user and a state when the electronic device is connected to the network;
- initialize a non-flag area of the resource memory after the network connection is released and while the electronic device is not occupied or used by the user;
- and
- reconnect the network connection,
- wherein the electronic device is in not occupied or used by the user when a usage ratio between a usage amount of an application processor in the electronic device and the usage amount of the electronic device is less than a second threshold value.
An operating method of a communication processor for managing a resource memory in an electronic device, comprising:
- monitoring an occupancy rate of the resource memory for detecting a memory leakage;
- in response to the detecting of the memory leakage, releasing a network connection when the electronic device is in an idle state, wherein the idle state indicates both a state when the electronic device is not occupied or used by a user and a state when the electronic device is connected to the network;
- initializing a non-flag area of the resource memory after the network connection is released and while the electronic device is not occupied or used by the user;
- and
- reconnecting the network connection after the initializing of the resource memory,
- wherein the electronic device is in not occupied or used by the user when a usage ratio between a usage amount of an application processor in the electronic device and the usage amount of the electronic device is less than a second threshold value.
An electronic device, comprising:
- a resource memory including a non-flag area and flag area;
- and
- a communication processor configured to:
- detect a memory leakage of the resource memory by monitoring an occupancy rate of the resource memory,
- in response to the detecting of the memory leakage, monitor the electronic device to determine whether to be in an idle state, wherein the idle state indicates both a state when the electronic device is not occupied or used by a user and a state when the electronic device is connected to a network,
- release a network connection in response to a determination that the electronic device is in the idle state,
- store database including information being maintained in the flag area,
- identify a task queue whether there is at least one task running on background,
- initialize the non-flag area of the resource memory in response to the releasing of the network connection and while the electronic device is not occupied or used by the user, and
- reconnect the network connection,
- wherein the electronic device is in not occupied or used by the user when a usage ratio between a usage amount of an application processor in the electronic device and the usage amount of the electronic device is less than a second threshold value.
