Abstract
A switchable rocker arm can comprise a main body configured to rotate around a rocker shaft. The main body can comprise a valve end and a cam end. A second body can comprise a cam-receiving transfer portion and a latch bore through the transfer portion. The cam-receiving transfer portion can include a bearing axle and a roller bearing. A latch assembly including a first latch and a second latch can be mounted in the latch bore.

A switchable rocker arm, comprising:
- a main body configured to rotate around a rocker shaft, the main body comprising a valve end and a cam end;
- a second body comprising a cam-receiving transfer portion and a latch bore through the cam-receiving transfer portion, the cam-receiving transfer portion comprising a bearing axle and a roller bearing mounted to rotate on the bearing axle;
- and
- a latch assembly mounted in the latch bore, the latch assembly comprising a first latch and a second latch biased out of the latch bore,
- wherein the bearing axle of the cam-receiving transfer portion comprises the latch bore.

- a main body configured to rotate around a rocker shaft, the main body comprising a valve end and a cam end;
- a second body comprising a cam-receiving transfer portion and a latch bore through the cam-receiving transfer portion;
- a latch assembly mounted in the latch bore;

- a spring frame comprising:
- a first prong for abutting the cam-receiving transfer portion;
- and
- a second prong for abutting the cam-receiving transfer portion,
- wherein the spring frame cups the cam-receiving transfer portion from a first side, and wherein the second body comprises a hollow frame that cups the cam-receiving transfer portion from the first side or a second side.

- a cam-receiving transfer portion comprising a bearing axle and a roller bearing mounted to rotate on the bearing axle;
- a pivot portion;

- a latch bore through the cam-receiving transfer portion, wherein the latch bore is configured to receive a first latch and a second latch of a latch assembly, the first latch and the second latch biased out of the latch bore,
- wherein the second body is configured to pivot relative to a main body of the switchable rocker arm via the pivot portion, and
- wherein the bearing axle of the cam-receiving transfer portion comprises the latch bore.
