Abstract
To produce a glass plate with resin frame in a short time at a low cost, and to reduce scars on the glass and the resin frame. A method for producing a glass plate with resin frame, which comprises forming a resin frame on a peripheral portion of a glass plate by injection molding, and removing a flash formed at an inner peripheral edge of the resin frame by irradiation with laser beam.
Claims9
A method for producing a glass plate with resin frame for a vehicle window, which comprises:
- forming a resin frame on a peripheral portion of a glass plate by injection molding, and
- removing a flash formed at an inner peripheral edge of the resin frame by irradiation with laser beam from a side of the glass plate, from which side the flash is being removed, wherein the laser beam is a pulsed laser beam and wherein the laser beam is applied at an energy density equal to or higher than the processing threshold for the resin frame and lower than the processing threshold for the glass plate.
