Date seed powder for water filtration treatment

A system for water treatment, the system comprising:

• a treatment tank configured to hold water;
• a water stream inlet, operable to allow a water stream to enter the treatment tank;
• a date seed media bed layer positioned within the treatment tank, operable to filter the water stream by removing suspended solids, the date seed media bed layer comprising a date seed media, wherein the date seed media comprises date seed powder, wherein the date seed media is prepared in a date seed media product system, the date seed media product system comprising:
• a dryer operable to dry unprocessed date seed to produce dried date seed;
• a shaker operable to clean and remove a seed membrane from the dried date seed to produce date seed mass;
• a heavy duty grinding mill operable to grind the date seed mass to generate the date seed powder;
• and
• one or more segregating mechanism operable to segregate the date seed powder based on particle size to produce the date seed media;
• a media support screen positioned within the treatment tank, operable to retain the date seed media bed layer;
• and
• a treated water stream outlet, operable to allow a treated water stream to exit the treatment tank.
