Abstract
An image processing apparatus includes a memory and at least one processor in communication with the memory, wherein the at least one processor of the image processing apparatus is configured to receive job information for giving an instruction to execute a function of the image processing apparatus from an external terminal, perform display control such that a setting screen for the function corresponding to the job information is displayed, based on the reception of the job information, and execute the function based on the received job information.
Claims12
An image processing apparatus comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- at least one processor in communication with the memory,
- wherein the at least one processor of the image processing apparatus is configured to:
- receive job information for giving an instruction to execute a function of the image processing apparatus, from among a plurality of functions including a copy function and a scanning function performable by the image processing apparatus, from an external terminal,
- display a home screen including the copy function and the scan function displayed on a display unit of the image processing apparatus based on the received job information, and, in a case where the home screen is displayed, perform display control that automatically transitions from the home screen to a setting screen including multiple setting items related to the function corresponding to the job information without receiving a user's operation for transitioning to the setting screen including the multiple setting items related to the function corresponding to the job information on the home screen displayed on the display unit of the image processing apparatus, and
- execute, in a case where the setting screen including the multiple setting items related to the function corresponding to the job information is displayed, the function corresponding to the job information automatically based on the received job information without receiving a user's operation for executing the function corresponding to the job information on the setting screen including the multiple setting items related to the function corresponding to the job information displayed on the display unit of the image processing apparatus executing the function.

A method for an image processing apparatus, the method comprising:
- receiving job information for giving an instruction to execute a function of the image processing apparatus, from among a plurality of functions including a copy function and a scanning function performable by the image processing apparatus, from an external terminal;
- displaying a home screen including the copy function and the scan function displayed on a display unit of the image processing apparatus based on the received job information, and, in a case where the home screen is displayed, performing display control that automatically transitions from the home screen to a setting screen including multiple setting items related to the function corresponding to the job information without receiving a user's operation for transitioning to the setting screen including the multiple setting items related to the function corresponding to the job information on the home screen displayed on the display unit of the image processing apparatus;

- executing, in a case where the setting screen including the multiple setting items related to the function corresponding to the job information is displayed, the function corresponding to the job information automatically based on the received job information without receiving a user's operation for executing the function corresponding to the job information on the setting screen including the multiple setting items related to the function corresponding to the job information displayed on the display unit of the image processing apparatus executing the function.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program to cause a computer to perform a method for an image processing apparatus, the method comprising:
- receiving job information for giving an instruction to execute a function of the image processing apparatus, from among a plurality of functions including a copy function and a scanning function performable by the image processing apparatus, from an external terminal;
