A quantum dot surface-modified with a compound represented by Chemical Formula 1:
- wherein, in Chemical Formula 1,
- L is a divalent moiety derived from acid dianhydride,
- L1 and L2 are independently a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C20 alkylene group,
- R1 is a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C20 alkyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted C6 to C20 aryl group, and
- m is an integer of 1 to 20.
