The second interval between activations is different to the first interval between activations.
Claims22
An aircraft tire monitoring device comprising:
- a wireless communication interface,
- the aircraft tire monitoring device configured to operate:
- in a first mode in which the wireless communication interface is periodically activated from an inactive state to be available for connection to a remote device with a first interval between activations, and
- in a second mode in which the wireless communication interface is periodically activated from the inactive state to be available for connection to the remote device with a second interval between activations different to the first interval between activations,
- wherein while in the inactive state the wireless communication interface is not available for connection to the remote device.
A method of operating an aircraft tire monitoring device, the method comprising:
- operating the aircraft tire monitoring device in a first mode in which a wireless communication interface of the tire monitoring device is periodically activated from an inactive state to be available for connection to a remote device with a first interval between activations;
- and
- operating the tire monitoring device in a second mode in which the wireless communication interface is periodically activated from the inactive state to be available for connection to the remote device with a second interval between activations different to the first interval between activations,
- wherein while in the inactive state the wireless communication interface is not available for connection to the remote device.
