Abstract
Disclosed herein are cell processing systems, devices, and methods thereof. A system for cell processing may comprise a plurality of instruments each independently configured to perform one or more cell processing operations upon a cartridge, and a robot capable of moving the cartridge between each of the plurality of instruments.
Claims20
A system for processing cell products in parallel comprising:
- a robotic arm positioned within a workcell;
- a first cartridge comprising a port configured to transfer fluid in and out of the first cartridge, wherein the first cartridge is configured to receive a first cell product to be processed and to interface with one or more instruments of the workcell;
- a first instrument positioned within the workcell, wherein the first instrument is configured to enable cell expansion;
- and
- a second, different instrument positioned within the workcell, the second instrument is configured to enable cell expansion,
- wherein the robotic arm is configured to move the first cartridge to interface with one or both of the first instrument and the second instrument in order to process the first cell product.
