Abstract
A driver amplifier circuit includes a non-linear differential amplifier and a non-linear resistor connected across output terminals of the differential amplifier. The non-linear resistor has a resistance value that increases as an amplitude of a differential voltage across the non-linear resistor increases.
Claims16
A driver amplifier circuit comprising:
- a non-linear differential amplifier;
- and
- a non-linear resistor connected across output terminals of the differential amplifier,
- wherein the non-linear resistor has a resistance value that increases as an amplitude of a differential voltage across the non-linear resistor increases, and
- wherein the non-linear resistor is configured to absorb a current that depends on the differential voltage according to a hyperbolic tangent function.
