A computer-implemented method, comprising:
- transmitting, with or using a transmitter, an electronic forum to a first user communication device associated with a user of the plurality of users, wherein the electronic forum provides a video or audio broadcast of a first sporting event to a plurality of users, wherein the electronic forum allows at least some of the plurality of users to communicate with one another before, during, or after, the first sporting event via text messaging or via video conferencing or audio conferencing, post comments or messages in the electronic forum before, during, or after, the video or audio broadcast, place a bet or any number of bets on an outcome of, or on an event which occurs during, the first sporting event, receive or be provided with information regarding bets available, betting odds, changes in betting odds, or analytics information, before, during, or after, the video or audio broadcast, and purchase a ticket or a ticket option for the first sporting event or for a second sporting event;
- receiving, with or using a receiver, a ticket purchase request or a ticket option purchase request transmitted from the first user communication device, wherein the ticket purchase request contains information regarding a request to purchase a ticket for the first sporting event or for the second sporting event, or wherein the ticket option purchase request contains information regarding a request to purchase a ticket option for a ticket for the first sporting event or for the second sporting event;
- processing, with or using a processor or a computer, information regarding a purchase of a ticket for the first sporting event or for the second sporting event or processing, with the processor or the computer, information regarding a purchase of a ticket option for a ticket for the first sporting event or for the second sporting event;
- generating, with or using the processor or the computer, a ticket purchase confirmation message containing information regarding a ticket for the first sporting event or for the second sporting event, or generating, with or using the processor or the computer, a ticket option purchase confirmation message containing information regarding a ticket option for a ticket for the first sporting event or for the second sporting event;
- and
- transmitting, with or using the transmitter, the processor, or the computer, the ticket purchase confirmation message or the ticket option purchase confirmation message to the first user communication device or to a second user communication device, wherein the second user communication device is associated with the user of the plurality of users.
