Automated temperature control of heating radiators

A radiator temperature control apparatus comprising:

• a first housing for enclosing at least a portion of a radiator air vent, the first housing comprising;
• a sealing mechanism for forming a seal about an air outlet of the radiator air vent;
• an internal chamber formed within the first housing and sealed at least partially by the sealing mechanism;
• and
• a fluid outlet in a wall of the internal chamber, and
• a second housing independent of the first housing, the second housing comprising:
• a fluid inlet;
• a fluid outlet;
• a fluid path between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet;
• an adjustable blockage for preventing fluid entering the second housing at the fluid inlet from exiting the second housing at the fluid outlet;
• and
• an actuator for opening and closing the blockage;
• wherein, when applied to a radiator air vent, the first housing encloses the at least a portion of the radiator air vent, and the second housing is fixed to the first housing such that the fluid outlet of the first housing is in fluid communication with the fluid inlet of the second housing,
• wherein the sealing mechanism of the first housing is a gasket for sealing against the at least a portion of the radiator air vent and forming the internal chamber,
• wherein the first housing further comprises a retainer for compressing the at least a portion of the radiator air vent against the gasket, wherein the retainer is a plunger, and wherein the at least a portion of the radiator air vent is sandwiched between the plunger and the gasket.
