Insulating device

An apparatus comprising:

• an outer shell;
• an inner liner forming a storage compartment;
• a foam layer positioned between the outer shell and the inner liner;
• an opening providing access to the storage compartment;
• and
• a lid assembly attached to the outer shell and configured to seal the opening, wherein the lid assembly comprises a zipper assembly, and wherein the zipper assembly is substantially waterproof or watertight.

An insulating device comprising:

• an outer shell;
• an inner liner forming a storage compartment;
• a foam layer positioned between the outer shell and the inner liner;
• an opening providing access to the storage compartment;
• a lid assembly attached to the outer shell and configured to seal the opening, wherein the lid assembly comprises a zipper assembly, and wherein the zipper assembly is substantially watertight or waterproof;
• a pair of straps affixed to the outer shell, wherein the pair of straps comprises at least one webbing loop;
• at least one shoulder strap;
• and
• at least one ring configured for the attachment of items.
