Abstract
A mirror assembly can include a housing, a mirror, and a light source. In certain embodiments, the mirror is rotatable within a support portion of the mirror assembly. In some embodiments, the mirror assembly includes a light pipe configured to emit a substantially constant amount of light along a periphery of the mirror. In some embodiments, the mirror assembly includes a sensor assembly. The sensor assembly can be configured to adjust the amount of emitted light based on the position of a user in relation to the mirror.
Claims19
A mirror assembly comprising:
- a base portion;
- a mirror head comprising a first mirror on a first side of the mirror head and a second mirror on a second side of the mirror head, the second mirror having a different magnification than the first mirror, the mirror head rotatable relative to the base portion, the mirror head rotatable such that the first mirror moves out of a viewing direction and the second mirror moves into the viewing direction;
- one or more light sources at a periphery of the mirror head;
- and
- a capacitive touch sensor in electronic communication with an electronic processor, the electronic processor configured to control an output of the one or more light sources or rotate the mirror head in response to a user input received from the capacitive touch sensor.
A mirror assembly comprising:
- a base portion;
- a mirror head comprising a first mirror on a first side of the mirror head and a second mirror on a second side of the mirror head, the second mirror having a different magnification than the first mirror, the mirror head rotatable relative to the base portion, the mirror head rotatable such that the first mirror moves out of a viewing direction and the second mirror moves into the viewing direction;
- one or more light sources at a periphery of the mirror head;
- and
- a handle for rotating the mirror head, the handle in electronic communication with an electronic processor, the electronic processor configured to control an output of the one or more light sources in response to a user input received from the handle.
