Dental attachment positioning apparatuses

An attachment positioning apparatus comprising:

• a well holding an orthodontic attachment therein, the orthodontic attachment having a mating surface at a first opening of the well, wherein the mating surface of the orthodontic attachment is shaped to conform to a contour of a buccal surface of a patient's tooth;
• one or more registration surfaces that are shaped to conform to one or more occlusal surfaces of the patient's teeth, wherein the one or more registration surfaces are configured to aid in proper positioning or orientation of the orthodontic attachment;
• a release liner covering the first opening of well and covering the mating surface of the orthodontic attachment;
• and
• one or more second openings that provide sole access to the well holding the orthodontic attachment,
• wherein when the attachment positioning apparatus is placed on the patient's dentition, the orthodontic attachment is positioned at a specified location with respect to the buccal surface of the patient's tooth.

An attachment positioning apparatus comprising:

• a plurality of wells holding a plurality of corresponding orthodontic attachments therein, wherein each of the plurality of orthodontic attachments has a mating surface at a first opening of a corresponding well, wherein the mating surface of each of the plurality of orthodontic attachments is shaped to conform to a contour of a buccal surface of a corresponding patient's tooth, wherein each of the plurality of wells comprises:
• a release liner covering the first opening of well and covering the mating surface of the corresponding orthodontic attachment;
• and
• one or more second openings that provide sole access to the well holding the corresponding orthodontic attachment;
• and
• one or more registration surfaces that are shaped to conform to one or more occlusal surfaces of the patient's teeth, wherein the one or more registration surfaces are configured to aid in proper positioning or orientation of the plurality of orthodontic attachments;
• wherein when the attachment positioning apparatus is placed on the patient's dentition, the plurality of orthodontic attachments are positioned at specified locations with respect to the buccal surfaces of corresponding teeth.
