Thermal transfer sheet, combination of thermal transfer sheet and intermediate transfer medium, and method for producing printed material

A combination of a thermal transfer sheet and an intermediate transfer medium comprising:

• a thermal transfer sheet comprising a first substrate and a metallic luster layer containing a metal pigment and a resin material,
• wherein the resin material is at least one resin material selected from the group consisting of polyesters, vinyl resins, and (meth)acrylic resins, and
• wherein the metallic luster layer has a 45-degree specular gloss, measured with a gloss meter in accordance with 45-degree specular glossiness-methods of measurement described in JIS Z 8741, in a range of 30% to 80%;
• and
• an intermediate transfer medium, comprising a second substrate and a transfer layer containing a receiving layer,
• wherein the receiving layer contains at least one resin material selected from the group consisting of vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymers and epoxy resins, and
• wherein the second substrate has a haze, measured in accordance with JIS K 7136, in a range of 15% to 50%.
