Systems and methods for measuring blood pressure

A blood pressure measurement system configured to measure blood pressure of a wearer of an inflatable cuff, the system comprising:

• an inflatable cuff configured to encompass a limb of a patient;
• a chamber assembly configured to receive a gas reservoir;
• a valve assembly coupled to the chamber assembly, wherein the valve assembly includes a valve;
• a gas pathway between the valve assembly and the inflatable cuff;
• and
• a piston located within the valve of the valve assembly, wherein a flow rate of gas through the gas pathway to the inflatable cuff changes as a location of the piston within the valve changes;
• a bar lever located to restrict movement of the piston in a first direction;
• a motor coupled to an actuator that is coupled to the bar lever, wherein rotation of the motor causes at least a portion of the actuator of extend or retract to vary a location of the bar lever;
• and
• one or more processors in communication with the motor and configured to:
• receive reservoir pressure data from a pressure sensor associated with the gas reservoir,
• based at least in part on a determination that the reservoir pressure data satisfies a canister replacement threshold, provide an indication to replace or refill the gas reservoir,
• receive cuff pressure data from a pressure sensor associated with the inflatable cuff, and
• based at least in part on a determination that the cuff pressure data falls within a blood pressure measurement range, actuate the motor to move the bar lever in the first direction or a second direction to increase or decrease, respectively, the flow rate of the gas through the gas pathway.
