Abstract
Systems and methods are provided for performing an action in response to a change in status of an input device. A media item is generated for output at a computing device, and a change in status of an input device associated with the computing device is identified. An indication of the change in status of the input device is received, and, in response to receiving the indication, an action is performed based on the media item.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- generating, at a computing device, a media item for output;
- providing for display, at a display device associated with the computing device, the media item;
- identifying a threshold, wherein the threshold is based on a status of an input device over a period of time, and the input device is associated with the computing device;
- identifying, based at least in part on information received from a sensor associated with the input device, a change in status of the input device that is greater than the threshold;
- receiving an indication of the change in status of the input device;
- and
- performing, in response to receiving the indication, an action based on the media item.

- a communication port;
- a memory storing instructions;

- control circuitry communicably coupled to the memory and the communication port and configured to execute instructions to:
- generate, at a computing device, a media item for output;
- cause display, at a display device associated with the computing device, the media item′
- identify a threshold, wherein the threshold is based on a status of an input device over a period of time, and the input device is associated with the computing device;
- identify, based at least in part on information received from a sensor associated with the input device, a change in status of the input device that is greater than the threshold;
- receive an indication of the change in status of the input device;
