Co-extruded multilayer articles including continuous layer and discontinuous layer

A multilayer article, comprising:

• a substantially tubular body surrounding an interior region, the body comprising a plurality of layers;
• wherein a first layer of the plurality of layers is formed from a first material and is continuous along a longitudinal axis of the body, wherein the first layer comprises a first material defining a first interior surface concentric to the longitudinal axis and exposed to the interior region, and wherein a second layer of the plurality of layers is formed from a second material defining a second interior surface concentric to and circumferentially surrounding the longitudinal axis, is disposed along portions of the longitudinal axis, and is exposed to the interior region, wherein the body is substantially free of at least one of parting lines and gate marks.
