Abstract
Lubricious hydrophilic coatings and methods of making the same.
Claims8
A urinary catheter, comprising:
- a hydrophilic coating disposed on an outer surface of the urinary catheter wherein the hydrophilic coating includes tocopherol in an amount greater than 3.5 weight percent of the hydrophilic coating;
- and
- the hydrophilic coating having a first visual appearance when in a non-hydrated state and transitioning to a second visual appearance when in a hydrated state.
