Solar panel performance modeling and monitoring

A system comprising:

• one or more computers;
• and
• one or more computer-readable media storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more computers, cause the one or more computers to perform operations comprising:
• transmitting, by the one or more computers, an instruction that causes an autonomous vehicle to perform an inspection of a solar panel;
• receiving, by the one or more computers, inspection data from the autonomous vehicle;
• determining, by the one or more computers and using the inspection data, that the solar panel is likely in a degraded condition;
• and
• in response to determining that the solar panel is likely in the degraded condition, activating, by the one or more computers, an automatic maintenance system to automatically remedy the degraded condition.

One or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing software comprising instructions executable by one or more computers which, upon such execution, cause the one or more computers to perform operations comprising:

• transmitting, by the one or more computers, an instruction that causes an autonomous vehicle to perform an inspection of a solar panel;
• receiving, by the one or more computers, inspection data from the autonomous vehicle;
• determining, by the one or more computers and using the inspection data, that debris has accumulated on the solar panel;
• and
• in response to determining that debris has accumulated on the solar panel, performing, by the one or more computers, one or more automated actions.
