• wherein the cover structure is configured to provide the user interface;
• wherein the user interface comprises an input device;
• wherein the cover layer is configured to cover at least a portion of the cover base;
• wherein the cover base of the cover structure comprises a core and a perimeter;
• wherein the cover surface comprises a surface of the core of the cover base projecting above a surface of the cover layer material;
• wherein the core of the cover base of the cover structure is configured to present the input device for the user interface;
• wherein the composite structure comprises a base structure configured to support the cover structure;
• wherein the base structure comprises a functional module structure under the cover base comprising a functional module configured to present the user interface.

A component for a vehicle interior configured to present a user interface comprising:

• a composite structure comprising a cover structure comprising a cover base, a cover layer and a cover surface;
• wherein the cover structure is configured to provide the user interface;
• wherein the user interface comprises an input device;
• wherein the cover layer is configured to cover at least a portion of the cover base;
• wherein the cover base of the cover structure comprises a core and a perimeter;
• wherein the core of the cover base provides the cover surface for the input device material;
• wherein the core of the cover base of the cover structure is configured to present the input device for the user interface;
• wherein the composite structure comprises a base structure configured to support the cover structure;
• wherein the base structure comprises a functional module structure under the cover base comprising a functional module configured to present the user interface.

A component for a vehicle interior configured to present a user interface comprising:

• a composite structure comprising a cover structure comprising a cover base, a cover layer and a cover surface;
• wherein the cover structure is configured to provide the user interface;
• wherein the user interface comprises an input device;
• wherein the cover layer is configured to cover at least a portion of the cover base;
• wherein the cover base of the cover structure comprises a core and a perimeter;
• wherein the cover structure comprises a decorative layer on the cover layer;
• wherein the decorative layer comprises an aperture configured to present the input device at the cover surface material;
• wherein the core of the cover base of the cover structure is configured to present the input device for the user interface;
• wherein the composite structure comprises a base structure configured to support the cover structure;
• wherein the base structure comprises a functional module structure under the cover base comprising a functional module configured to present the user interface.

• wherein the cover structure is configured to provide the user interface;

• wherein the cover base of the cover structure comprises a core and a perimeter;
• wherein the cover structure comprises a decorative layer on the cover layer;
• wherein the decorative layer provides the cover surface;
• wherein the decorative layer is configured to present the input device at the cover surface material;
• wherein the core of the cover base of the cover structure is configured to present the input device for the user interface;
• wherein the composite structure comprises a base configured to support the cover structure;
• wherein the base structure comprises a functional module structure under the cover base comprising a functional module configured to present the user interface.
