Abstract
Described herein is a system and method in a user equipment (UE) supporting registration using third generation partnership project (3GPP) access and using non-3GPP access, the method comprising storing, in a memory of the UE, first emergency information received using first registration procedures; receiving, by the UE, a REGISTRATION ACCEPT message using second registration procedures via non-3GPP access; and keeping, in the memory, the first emergency information after receiving the REGISTRATION ACCEPT message.
Claims16
A method implemented in a user equipment (UE), the method comprising:
- storing a first extended local emergency number list;
- and
- determining whether or not to discard the first extended local emergency number list based on information received in a registration accept message received via non-3GPP access, wherein the registration accept message received via the non-3GPP access does not include a second local emergency number list, and
- wherein the first extended local emergency number list is received in a message from a first public land mobile network (PLMN), and the message comprises an extended emergency number list validity (EENLV) indicator, the EENLV indicator indicating that the first extended local emergency number list is valid in the first PLMN from which the first extended local emergency number list is received.
A user equipment (UE) comprising a processor configured to:
- store a first extended local emergency number list;
- and
- determine whether or not to discard the first extended local emergency number list based on information received in a registration accept message received via non-3GPP access,
- wherein the registration accept message received via the non-3GPP access does not include a second local emergency number list, and
- wherein the first extended local emergency number list is received in a message from a first public land mobile network (PLMN), and the message comprises an extended emergency number list validity (EENLV) indicator, the EENLV indicator indicating that the first extended local emergency number list is valid in the first PLMN from which the first extended local emergency number list is received.
