Abstract
A control device configured to control motion of a vehicle includes a controller. The controller is configured to execute braking control that generates a braking force for decelerating the vehicle in response to a braking request. The controller is configured to release the braking force by the braking control when a predetermined condition for continuing the braking control is not satisfied, and to maintain the braking force by the braking control when the predetermined condition is satisfied, in a case where an accelerator pedal is operated during execution of the braking control.
Claims6
A control device configured to control motion of a vehicle, the control device comprising:
- a controller configured:
- to execute braking control that generates a braking force for decelerating the vehicle in response to a braking request;
- and
- to release the braking force by the braking control when a predetermined condition for continuing the braking control is not satisfied, and to maintain the braking force by the braking control when the predetermined condition is satisfied, in a case where an accelerator pedal is operated during execution of the braking control.
A control system comprising:
- a control device including a first controller and configured to control motion of a vehicle;
- and
- an instruction device including a second controller configured to output a control request to the control device, wherein:
- the first controller is configured:
- to execute braking control that generates a braking force for decelerating the vehicle in response to a braking request from the second controller;
- and
- to release the braking force by the braking control when a predetermined condition for continuing the braking control is not satisfied, and to maintain the braking force by the braking control when the predetermined condition is satisfied, in a case where an accelerator pedal is operated during execution of the braking control.
A control method by a control device configured to control motion of a vehicle and including a controller, the control method comprising:
- executing, by the controller, braking control that generates a braking force for decelerating the vehicle in response to a braking request;
- and
- releasing, by the controller, the braking force by the braking control when a predetermined condition for continuing the braking control is not satisfied, and maintaining, by the controller, the braking force by the braking control when the predetermined condition is satisfied, in a case where an accelerator pedal is operated during execution of the braking control.
