Abstract
An input-output data collector collects, from a programmable logic controller, input-output data representing a log for a device in a program predetermined as a logging target program of one or more programs executable by the programmable logic controller. An input-output data generator generates, when a debugging target program is determined not to be included in the predetermined program, input-output data representing a log for a device in the debugging target program by executing a simulation program simulating an operation of the programmable logic controller.
Claims20
A debugging assistance device for assisting in debugging of a program executable by a programmable logic controller, the debugging assistance device comprising:
- first processing circuitry to
- collect, from the programmable logic controller, input-output data representing a log for a device in a program predetermined as a logging target program of one or more programs executable by the programmable logic controller, and
- generate, when a debugging target program is determined not to be included in the predetermined program, input-output data representing a log for a device in the debugging target program by executing a simulation program simulating an operation of the programmable logic controller.
A debugging assistance method, comprising:
- executing software instructions in one or more processing circuitries to collect, from a programmable logic controller, input-output data representing a log for a device in a program set as a logging target program;
- and
- executing software instructions in one or more processing circuitries to generate, when a debugging target program is not included in the logging target program, input-output data representing a log for a device in the debugging target program by simulating an operation of the programmable logic controller.
A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium storing a program, the program causing a computer to perform operations comprising:
- collecting, from a programmable logic controller, input-output data representing a log for a device in a program set as a logging target program;
- and
- generating, when a debugging target program is not included in the logging target program, input-output data representing a log for a device in the debugging target program by simulating an operation of the programmable logic controller.
